don't know...try a phone call or better a visit and meal...a most excellent way to find out
Excellent food and beer. My husband had the hazelnut brown ale which had a noticeable hazelnut and malty flavor without hoppiness. They have homemade bread which has rosemary in it and they serve it with flavorful olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They serve salads and sandwiches for lunch. I had a Gorgonzola Cobb salad that was wonderful. This place was recommended with enthusiasm by a local person. It’s across the street from the best art gallery in town: the Semi Aquatic Gallery. We loved his art. The gallery seems to primarily display the art of one person who paints local scenes of nature primarily. He was in the shop so we talked with him about his art which was interesting. We bought two prints of his paintings. He has prints on photo paper, canvass, and metal.
Mostly good food, quite expensive but it is to be expected for a upscale tourist town. Bread is free so don’t be shy, and avoid the spaghetti. My daughter got the spaghetti and it was so mediocre. Then we witnessed another adult request something different (he had ordered the spaghetti) it was a relief that it was not just us. Everything else was swell, especially the pork belly sliders and spinach pesto ricotta pasta.
AMAZING FOOD DEFINITELY a place to stop if you are wanting to enjoy a family own restaurant experience. The staff is incredible and you can see that they have a family bond. They are quick on their feet! They are constantly helping each other. The food was exquisite! The flavors are out of this word. Who would of thought a small town can create an amazing menu! EVERYTHING here is out standing!
I'll give the benefit of the doubt with that second star, but don't eat here if you have an obscure allergy. We left because they couldn't tell me what kind of vegetable oil they use. It shouldn't be that difficult to bring someone a bottle, or a picture of the label when they say they have an allergy. But I heard from my mom that I didn't really miss out, since the fettuccine alfredo wasn't even that great.
Great spot with outdoor seating. The food was delicious but a little slim on the serving size. The warm focaccia was an added bonus. Not many vegetarian options.
Amazing atmosphere with super friendly staff. Seriously one of the best meals I have eaten. We had the escargot (buttery deliciousness), lasagna (excellent) and hands down the best gourmet Mac and cheese--the Mac & Chedda with sausage---I have ever had! Don't forget to enjoy some of the fresh baked bread and a drink.
Tha food was not nearly weed that it used to be my Wife had spinach salad that was drenched with dressing I had the lamb burger that used to be fabulous was dry no goat cheese I will give it one more try to see if the quality comes back Rob thank you for your response as you said your wife took care of it NOT she said that she was going to take care of lunch. Behold the check came to the table I took care of the $75.00 bill a d left a hundred for lunch. I forgot to mention our assistants pulled pork she couldn't eat then ended up all night with diarrhea. We came back to give e it a shot because your food was always great but didn't read your response Good Luck hope it works out for you
Great stop!! Dare I say one of the best French dips I have ever had, ever!! Must stop for those going north or south on 101.
Can't say enough about this place. Great service and excellent food. We stopped in on a trip in from Cleveland a few days ago. The pulled pork sandwich is the best that I've ever had, hands down. Don't let this one slip by.
Great food and great service. Prices quite reasonable for the quality and quantity. We'll be back
Really good. Hard to find good Italian food on the coast, this place delivered. Good mixed drinks too.
This place was amazing! Food was so delicious! I had the cabrese sandwich with the homemade pasta salad and my boyfriend had the pork belly sliders and green salad. They were both delicious! Portions were great too and not too large. Staff were super friendly.
Possibly one of my best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant owners are good people they care about our community and they enjoy what they do and have a Passion I'm asking a big favor from the community to please please be kind to all servers and restaurants they also are struggling with what's going on in our world have patients share love and compassion towards all people.
Delicious food for couples and families. Small intimate setting. Loved the dinner special that I ordered.
AMAZING food! Lasagna was the best I've ever had! Service was awesome. And don't even get me started on the bread! To die for! When I am back in town it will be my first stop
I really dont understand how this place is so highly rated , I really dont understand why anyone even eats here . The people are very nice the place is very clean unfortunately the food is absolutely horrible, I never complain are do any reviews but this place is very bad I spent $50.00 on lunch that we literally threw away , we all took like three bites of our food and just said no .we got it to go , which was a good thing we were very disappointed and upset and just felt ripped off , I can make better meatball sandwich my self . The bread was soggy and horrible the meatballs were drowned in basil. Just a bad EXPERIENCE never again..
Seriously great food , drinks & my Server Reilly was fantastic !! Make a reservation because they are busy and the food is that tasty ☺
Well didn’t even get a chance to try the food. Came all the way from Medford for a day trip to the beach and when we went to have a nice dinner in the evening, they ignored us. We had two adults and a 4 yo and honestly felt like they had a thing against kids even though they said on the phone that it was kid friendly and had coloring sheets! We sat outside waiting to get menus for 15-20 minutes, asking the waiters for help several times. Never did get service so we left and went to the hungry clam. This place doesn’t deserve the money.
Had a wonderful dinner! Staff was amazing and makes you feel very comfortable from the first greeting! Husband had the steak... cooked to perfection for him, medium rare. His potatoes were great (I had some of his as well) and he loved the grilled zucchini! His steamer clams were in a wonderful white wine sauce, had a small hint of spice to it. I had the lasagna. It was a bit cheesy but overall taste was good. Could use more red sauce and that would have topped it off perfectly. Very nice place but don’t have to be all dressed up. It’s definitely a place we will come back to again next time we visit here!
Wonderful food, great cocktails and a quaint atmosphere. So nice to have a place to get fresh homemade noodles, sauces that linger on your taste buds. I would love to see the ambience improved. Please, management, get cushions for the hard wooden seats and gentle music which does not clash with the music from back room staff. Management is aware customers hear two conflicting sounds and do nothing. If the atmosphere improved I'd rate higher.
Hands down the best restaurant I have been to in Oregon. They have a superb understanding of local ingredients and every dish is amazing.
Cozy environment filled with charm and of course delicious cuisine. The mushroom rogout crostini appetizer was fabulous. Highly recommend the Black Trumpet Bistro!
Lovely! As you see we are Oregon's finest etiquette society held by your very own Curry county's debutantes Jessica Bergman and Tina Gardner. thank you for your grace princesses and our Junior Royal Miss Mikayla Montgomery! Held in high regard Black trumpet bistro you're fine dining in Curry county!
The special was chicken with spiral pasta and creamy pesto sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Their restaurant was decorated with macro shots of different mushrooms (as an amateur photographer, I really enjoyed that lol).My parents got lasagna and the portabello chicken alfredo (which was the same as mine but with alfredo sauce instead of the creamy pesto). All three dishes were good, but the pesto one was OUTSTANDING.
Four of us... first time there. Started outside then the sun went down so moved inside! Each of us had different dishes and nothing was left...we literally ate everything including 2 orders of their AMAZING bread. We had Chipinno, Veal, Stoganoff, and Raviolis. I Had to meet the fabulous Chef and let her know how truly wonderful her food is. Wish I lived closer so I could go back again and again!! 😍
